John Barlow is a visual artist, fitness enthusiast, and problem solver. His artistic passions are filmmaking, editing, photography and digital design. His philosophical passions are sustainability, equality and self-improvement.

 

After attending film school, he lived in Los Angeles for 13 years. Taking a giant leap of faith, he moved to the mountains of North Carolina to live on a small animal farm and reconnect with nature. He fell in love with his new way of life, and became more inspired than ever. John and his partner, Gene, moved to Malaysia with their dogs in January 2020. In May 2021 he returned to his home town in Washington State for an extended family visit, and will remain there until Malaysia reopens after Covid lockdown. John continues to create visual art that is inspired by his personal experiences. He is available for freelance work as a filmmaker/editor and photographer.
